🐾 Meet Our Director: Guiding the Safari of Learning
At the heart of Lois Playhouse Family Childcare is Deloris, a dedicated early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience nurturing and teaching young children. Her journey in early education has taken her through many meaningful roles — from family childcare provider to infant/toddler teacher and Head Start preschool educator.
Deloris holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Child Development, which provides her with a strong foundation to support the growth and development of young learners. Her approach combines professional expertise with genuine warmth, creating an environment where children feel valued, supported, and inspired every day.
Guided by the safari spirit of exploration and discovery, Deloris believes that every child is an adventurer — curious, capable, and full of potential. She’s passionate about creating learning experiences that encourage creativity, independence, and confidence while fostering strong connections with families.
At Lois Playhouse, Deloris leads with heart, purpose, and a deep belief that learning is a lifelong adventure. Under her guidance, our playhouse is more than just childcare — it’s a place where children grow, families feel supported, and the whole community thrives together
